Who We Are
Wine Country Accounting & Finance Consultants (WCAFC) was started in 2001 by Lynne Taylor, an MBA and CPA who had over 15 years of experience in businesses in Southern California doing accounting and finance work.
After moving to Northern California in 1999, Lynne worked with a number of highly qualified and experienced individuals in accounting and finance departments at various companies in the North Bay, and started recruiting some of them to work on a consulting basis with clients she had in Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties.
Each of the WCAFC contractors works independently and specializes in a specific area of accounting or finance. Each individual works independently and has a standard Independent Contractor Agreement that is negotiated separately for services with a client. Each accountant or finance professional charges a rate appropriate for the level of work they are performing for the client.
Our rates are competitive with most of the recruiting, temporary agency and “headhunting” firms seeking to place their candidates with companies in the area. Because we are providing direct services however, we eliminate these “middlemen” and save our clients money, while providing services specific to their terms and schedules.
